Our work for Grey Dog Sales & Marketing Inc. involved the creation of a logo from a provided sketch and creating an identity system around it. Business cards, vehicle magnets and custom PowerPoint slides were the end result.
The logo represents a section of the web businesses weave and how value flows through the web. Each triangle represents the relationships between a business (bottom left point), its customers (top point) and its competition (bottom right point). The lines between those points represents the flow of value. The idea is to improve the value provided to customers so the link between customers and the competition is severed, represented by the breaks in the lines.
The concept of the web comes into play with the logo’s ability to be tessellated into an endless pattern. That ability is utilized on the back of the business cards, suggesting that the pattern continues forever beyond the edges of the card.
We’ve been working with SpinWare, a mobile device & accessories chain, since the summer of 2009. The focus is on helping everyday people adopt new technologies by making tech fun and easy. Even the name SpinWare is a hat tip to the future, a nod to spintronics and other technologies which will move us beyond the current generation of electronics.
As the stores continue to evolve, we continue to provide SpinWare with quality design to back the quality their stores provide. We’re currently working to provide a custom e-commerce solution that will be launching in the next few weeks.
